Geranium Essential Oil

Pelargonium graveolens leaves are steam distilled to produce Geranium essential oil. Folklore indicates it was used for a multitude of health conditions. Pink flowers have a fresh, floral fragrance and come in different varieties and strains. The scent of each variety may differ, but the composition, benefits, and uses are similar. Perfumes and cosmetics contain geranium essential oil. Various health conditions are also treated with essential oil in aromatherapy. Aromatherapy relies on the use of essential ois, which is either diffused, or diluted with carrier oil and applied to the skin for healing effects.
